Every Lady Welcome! Come bowl with US this year at South Sound USBC's 19th Annual Ladies Classic Tournament October 4th and 5th. Being held this season at Narrows Plaza, it's a terrific way to satisfy your hunger for competition and fun.

What's more, there is ample opportunity for you to succeed this year, as there are 3 - count em - THREE! divisions for you to choose from. So no matter what your skill level, YOU BELONG WITH US.

ANOTHER GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR

YOUTH BOWLERS -

Join other youth bowlers from AROUND THE STATE for

the 2008 WSBC Youth Masters Tournament coming to BOWLERO LANES on October 4th and 5th.

Also scheduled for the weekend is a JUNIOR GOLD

QUALIFYING EVENT where bowlers with 170 average or more can qualify for entrance into the 2009 JUNIOR GOLD TOURNAMENT.

Both tournaments are prestigious and are a great way to both compete test the skills you may have worked on over the summer. Challenging yourself to compete is also a terrific way to increase your confidence, so no matter what, it's a win-win situation.

SSUSBC FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY

Another opportunity exists for you to raise funds for the SSUSBC. Fundraising pays for many expenses throughout the season, so your help is very much appreciated when you can give it.

The University of Washington Huskies have a need for ushers during their home football games, and will pay our association to supply them. Ushering is a great way to enjoy a game and serve a need all at the same time!

Leigh Goodier, South Sound USBC Vice President, has provided us with the Husky home game schedule (below) and will coordinate the SSUSBC Husky volunteer program. Volunteers will meet at Secoma Lanes prior to each home game and carpool to SAVE ON GAS. Please contact the SSUSBC office at (253) 473-4822 for more info.

These are fun events that you should be excited about bowling - especially if you've never tried bowling tournaments before. These tournaments are organized for YOUR benefit, so please support them by entering one or both of them right here via our website!

WSUSBC is hosting a BRONZE LEVEL COACHING COURSE November 7-9, 2008 at Hiline Lanes in Burien.

If you are interested in coaching, this is a fantastic opportunity for you, as these classes don't come around too often. In order to attend the BRONZE LEVEL COACHING COURSE, you must have obtained your LEVEL 1 COACHING certificate before November 7th. USBC NOW OFFERS LEVEL 1 COACHING ONLINE at a minimal cost to you.
